Today’s Meditation (12.8.17)

Isaiah 64:8

Yet, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Today’s Meditation (11.20.17)

Colossians 1:10

“That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God [with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight, acquaintance, and recognition].”

Reflection:

It’s not always easy to conduct oneself in a way that is pleasing to God but it can happen. The potential for a person to live better and to conduct him or herself in ways that are pleasing to God is by having a relationship with God, renewing their mind with the Word of God by praying and meditating on Scripture. It’s about having a conscious relationship with God that is consistent and honest.

When I fall short I don’t move away from God, I move that much more closer to Him because it’s in those moments I know that I really need God.
